The earth isn’t our giving tree, it’s our common ground. We create clothing that looks great while caring for the earth.

B-Corporation

As a veteran Certified B Corporation it has always been our mission to balance purpose and profit by considering the impact of every decision on our workers, customers, suppliers, community, and the environment.

We aim to inspire the fashion industry and its consumers to be more thoughtful, by showing that we can make the world a better place without compromising style and quality. We are stronger when we come together to work on a future where we can all thrive.

Fair Trade CertifiedTM Factories

Working with Fair Trade CertifiedTM factories is our thank you card to the people who make our clothing. Since the beginning we have chosen factories that are kind to their workers and the planet at large. We believe that basic human rights like fair living wages, worker’s rights, and good working conditions should be standard practice. Our Fair Trade CertifiedTM factories adhere to rigorous social, environmental, and economic guidelines so you can trust that your clothing was made with love.

GOTS Certified

Global Organic Textile Standard means that our raw materials are meeting the highest organic standards and that our factories only engage in environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing, treating their employees and the earth with deep respect. Every part of the production process is certified including the organic cotton, non toxic dyes, and natural fabric treatments.

With organic cotton sourced from small, family run farms, the co-op model of cotton sourcing means that everyone from the farmers to the factory producing our clothing has a seat at the table, and weaves a positive thread in the tapestry of our business.

Heritage Led, Artisan Made

We believe in the heritage of the earth. Our Heritage Collections are hand-made by artisans using traditional techniques and practices.

We believe that every piece of clothing has a story to tell — from where it came from, how it was made, and who made it. When you wear WVN, you are weaving a positive thread in (her)story.
